Chirk Mill Wrexham
14th September 2024

πŸ‘»πŸ‘»There has been a working mill on this site since circa 1300. In the Tudor/Elizabethan period the building was improved and remains of that building can still be seen. The majority of the building now showing was built up, with raised floors and extended in the 1700’s. The cellar and wheel room are still original. There was a gabled Queen Anne house joined onto the mill on the back land. At the end of the last century a three storey extension was erected adjoining the right hand side of the main mill.Β πŸ‘»πŸ‘»
