The Village Skegness

The farmhouse was built back in 1760, making it the oldest house in Skegness.
The museum is set in 3 acres of gardens & orchards only a short distance from the centre of Skegness.

There are a number of traditional buildings, including a thatched “mud and stud” cottage, which was moved from the nearby village of Withern, the original 18th-century farmhouse, and a 19th-century stable block and cowshed.

Join us to exploring the old residential buildings, outbuildings, and grounds of this amazing location.

The Village Church Farm is Lincolnshire’s only open air farming museum, situated in the heart of Skegness. It boasts the oldest farmhouse in Skegness where footsteps have been heard running across the upper floor of the old farmhouse yet there is no access to the upper floor.

Inside the old mud hut, items have been “thrown” and voices heard and the stables, which now houses an old victorian school room and a War exhibition a mans voice has been heard, maybe he will shout your name?

Working alongside the team you will split in to small groups to work through the building in group sessions using both tradition and scientific methods of investigation such as table tipping, ouija boards, evp sessions with the intention of interacting with the spirits that reputedly haunt the building.

Hot drinks, bottled water, biscuits and snacks provided.

There are toilets on site

Strictly No Alcohol or drugs

Sorry no under 18’s or pregnant women allowed

No smoking or Vaping within the building, a designated site will be highlighted to those that require it

Please wear warm clothing and sensible footwear and bring your own torch

There are a few stairs and some walking between buildings so this location may not be auitable for some people with mobility issues, pleaae check prior to booking

 This is NOT a sleepover event therefore you will be required to stay awake for the duration
